What should I do in case of an emergency?

If the patient's situation threatens his life or that of other people at this time, call 911, a psychiatric emergency service or detention center. You can also visit the Emergency area of the nearest health center.

Is my visit confidential?

Confidentiality is an essential principle in our center, both in relation to the topics discussed in the sessions, as well as its presence in our offices. This principle can only be broken in the following situations:

  • If your life or the lives of other people is in danger.
  • If the therapist or psychiatrist needs to consult something with another professional.
  • If required by law.

What time do you work in the center?

Work hours vary depending on the therapist or psychiatrist, but our offices are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

How long is each session?

Usually a psychotherapy session lasts about 50 minutes, however, it could vary by therapist and / or service.

What is the cost of the sessions?

The cost of each session varies depending on the professional and the service you receive. Please call our offices for more information.

What are the payment options?

Payments must be made before the session, in cash, check, or bank transfer. If you require a payment agreement, it must be discussed and approved by your therapist beforehand.

Do you accept medical insurance?

You can get coverage in reimbursement mode for any of the services received as long as it is previously approved by your insurance.

What happens if I arrive late or cannot attend my appointment?

You should try to arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive later than agreed, your therapist will only be able to see you for the remainder of the session time, and this will continue to have the same cost.
Each therapist has its own cancellation policy. Please refer to this if you must cancel your appointment less than 24 hours in advance. You have the alternative of receiving your session by phone or Skype. Please ask for this option before canceling. In case you do not notify the cancellation in the indicated time, or schedule the session by Skype or phone, you will have to cover the total amount of the session.

What is our referral policy?

The therapist may consider it necessary to supplement his treatment with other therapies / services. These may include: Psychological Evaluation, Psychiatric Evaluation, Addiction Therapy, Relaxation Therapy, Art Therapy and / or the Intensive Recovery Program.
