It is the specialty within the field of rehabilitation that is in charge of the evaluation,

diagnosis and treatment of voice, hearing, speech, language, learning, and oral motor disorders
that affect during the development of the child, and from one being treated at this stage can also be received by adolescents
and adults achieving exceptional results.

  • Producing sounds in syllables
  • Problems in fluidity and difficulty in the tone, volume and quality of the voice
  • Problems understanding or processing language

Emotional disturbances are found in all patients and must always be taken into account.
Reactions of irritability, apathy, insecurity, dependence, isolation, pessimism, emotional instability,
irresponsibility or unjustified euphoria can end up affecting the patient. The collaboration of the family
in the process is considered of the utmost importance, since both the attitudes of overprotection and those
of indifference, oblivion or rejection directly and negatively influence the chances of recovery.
