• She graduated as Doctor of Medicine from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM).
• Specialty in Psychiatry at the Padre Billini Psychiatric Hospital.

Her professional practice is focused on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of depression, anxiety, addictions, schizophrenia, bipolarity, personality disorders, psychoses and other mental illnesses, applying psychiatry based on scientific evidence.

Over her professional practice Dr. Kimberly has coordinated various research in the area of mental health, which has been presented at medical conferences and published in scientific journals.

She has also taken courses in bipolar, schizophrenic and substance use disorders; Suicidal crisis: evaluation and intervention; Neurobiology of psychiatric disorders; Human sexuality; Psychotropic drugs in pregnancy and lactation; The addicted brain; Addiction treatment: clinical skills for healthcare providers.

Adults

Her clinical experience covers topics such as anxiety, depression and addictions, including life situations that cause discomfort such as grief, difficulty managing emotions, insecurity, among others. Its objective is to provide its patients with a safe space in which they can develop their potential using as a means of accompaniment in which they discover their internal tools, learn to use some new ones and thereby build a better future.

Her approach is based on Deep Psychology, high individual psychotherapy from a Jungian perspective. It also includes techniques from the Cognitive Behavioral current, Gestalt and Systemic Therapies.

Margie's professional work is developed in research using approaches to the systemic model, attachment theory and Third Generation psychological therapies that constitute the frameworks from which she carries out her clinical practice. She works in a particular way cases that take place with high emotional dysregulation, disorganized attachment and complex trauma that translate into clinical conditions of anxiety and chronic depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, Dissociative Disorder, among others.

In addition, she works with mindfulness and compassion programs for youth groups, businesses, educational institutions and health personnel.
